Haiti’s Next Top Model Fashion Show

Created and executive produced by Irma Celestin with its first show in August 2009. Haiti’s Next Top Model Fashion show was created to give a platform for intelligent and aspiring models to showcase their talents and compete for the title of “Haiti’s Next Top Model” and a chance to begin their career in the modeling industry. Haiti’s Next Top Model Fashion show averages over 14 contestants and each contestant is judged on their overall performances in runway, stage presence, photo and commercial shoots. Each contestant will be coached on runway walking, facial expressions, applying makeup and every other skill required to be a top model before the main event. The Haiti’s Next Top Model Fashion Show was born out of the need to have a true fashion show that celebrates and honor the women of Haiti, its culture, fashion, and style and its fashion designers who have done well in creating a fashion savvy 1generation and putting Haiti in the international fashion limelight.

Haiti’s Next Top Model Show fashion has proven successful with its acceptance by the fashion communities and by the increasing number of contestants sending in their applications each year. Now in its 4th cycle, the fashion show seeks to empower women and impose self-confidence among contestants and every cycle will have different prices for the winners. The winner of the Haiti’s Next Top Model fashion show is chosen by a group of specially selected judges who have great insight into the fashion industry. The winner of the fashion show will have a chance to begin her modeling career, receive a $500 stipend and an editorial spread magazine. Haiti’s Next Top Model fashion has successfully built strong mutual relationships with modeling agencies all over the nation to add value to The Haiti’s Next Top Model brand and to make it one of the best in the country and by extension, in the world. In the next few years, the Haiti’s Next Top Model Fashion show hope to expand by allowing more contestants, bigger prize monies for winners and a strong fellowship as well as unrivaled international presence and recognition, particularly among the fashion and modeling world.
